the black band i wear

i think of her on a daily basis.

it’s not a matter of who hurt who,

but whose intentions were true.

the feelings i gave her,

was certainly everything that i was.

i found in hers was different calling.

 so to say that one was at fault would be wrong;

a couple means two,

and that meant me, too.

so in that,

i say that i am sorry.

the black band of forgiveness sees

and reminds one self of who they are;

and maybe take some time to reflect to see

what i had and what i lost.

i think of her on a daily basis.

it’s not a matter of who hurt who,

but whose intentions were true.

the feelings i gave her,

was certainly everything that i was.
