when desire sings

our eyes meet

and stares deep.

a look so strong

it grabbed my soul.

and there she was

before me.

a sip of wine;

and all seems fine.

through the two glasses

candlelight golden dances.

nervous lips of a soft quivering kiss.

a patio breeze sweeps past the blooms.

my fingers sing over her skin up her arm;

ever so delicately my hand cups her head.

nervous lips of a soft, passionate, quivering kiss.

her touch waltzes through my emotions

calming each one; one by one

our eyes meet

and stares deep.

a look so strong

it grabbed my soul.

and there she was

before me
