in the slumber of falling stars

when the daybreak was watching patiently,

the hush in emotion from yesterday was packed away;

driven away into some dusk coloured sky faded fast.

nay! never once did i look back!

never once was there a look back in a second guess.

so when slumber fell across the stars

the collection of reminders

drifted and sailed away in the moonlit ocean current

all that were in the moonshadows,

all that were in the slumber of falling stars

and to all that were in the action of letting go

the daybreak was watching patiently.

the hush in emotion from yesterday was packed away

in the slumber of falling stars
